Panic to Power


Okanagan Campus | 3:00pm–4:00pm

Join us for an exciting and interactive event hosted by the Career Development Team for all students about how to take nervous energy and turn it into powerful motivation to achieve your goals. Everyone feels nervous, anxious or worried about their career... so how can we shift the perspective?

Turn nervous energy into your secret superpower in the "Panic to Power" workshop! Whether it's job interviews, public speaking, exams, or global challenges, this session dives deep into understanding what makes us nervous and why. Using proven strategies, you’ll learn how to harness this energy for positive action and growth. 

Through practical techniques like deep breathing, positive thinking, and gradual exposure, you’ll reframe nervousness as a source of strength. Walk away with tools to manage anxiety, boost confidence, and transform that rush of nerves into the fuel you need to thrive in any situation! 

Plus, every attendee will be entered in a draw to win a wellness prize!
