Promoting positive mental health and wellbeing is crucial to students’ academic success and engagement and to creating an outstanding work environment for our faculty and staff. 

Reducing mental health stigma, creating a supportive campus culture, and ensuring that faculty, staff and students have the resources to help them understand mental health issues, and improve resiliency and coping skills, are key to building positive mental health and to living, learning and working well. This health promotion approach to mental health is about more than providing services. It is about equipping our community with the skills they need to live well and improve their health by creating environments that support them.
