Okanagan Campus | 11:00am–12:00pm
Audience: All faculty and staff at UBC Vancouver and Okanagan are welcome to attend.
Location: Zoom.
About this workshop:
If boundaries were easy to set, many would be more comfortable using the word "no." As short as this word is, it can come with fear, anxiety, doubt and anxiousness, making it difficult for people to uphold personal and professional boundaries.
This workshop will help participants uncover the benefits of having healthy boundaries and learn how to set them.
Key takeaways
- Understand how boundaries can lead toward burnout or flourishing
- Recognize how a lack of boundaries can affect relationships
- Learn about the various types of boundaries that exist
- Determine when to say “yes” and when to say “no” within your relationships
- Learn how to set boundaries.
Important Notes:
- The session will not be recorded, but the slides will be shared.
- Closed captioning can be enabled.
This series is a partnership between Health, Wellbeing, & Benefits and Learning & Talent Development in Central HR.
